Terms of Service

Who runs Loop
Loop is made and operated by Mate Gozner, an individual, based in Romania. There is no company behind it. When these terms say "we" or "us", they mean Mate.
Who can use it
Loop is for adults. You need to be 18 or older to use it, and the app asks you to confirm this when you set up your account. Don't use Loop, and don't invite anyone, if they're under 18.
Your account
There's no password. You sign in with a six-digit code sent to your email, or with Sign in with Apple. That means whoever controls your email inbox or your Apple ID controls your Loop account. Keep both secure, and write to hello@loop.goznair.app if you think someone else has access to either.
You're responsible for what happens on your account, including what your crew sees from it.
Acceptable use
Loop is a game for a small group of friends who already know each other. Play it that way.
Missions are written to get people talking, moving and laughing, never to put anyone at risk or on the spot. The same limits apply to anything you post, vote on, or write in a confessional:
- Nothing dangerous, and no stunts, especially not while driving.
- Nothing illegal.
- Nothing sexual.
- Nothing meant to humiliate or bully someone, in the group or outside it.
- No photographing strangers. Missions are about your crew, not people who didn't sign up for this.
Breaking these rules can get your content removed or your account suspended.
Your content
Photos, videos, captions, votes and confessionals you post are still yours. We don't take ownership of them.
By posting, you give us the licence we need to run the game with them: storing them, and showing them to the rest of your crew for that season, the way the app is meant to work. We don't use your content outside your crew, and we don't sell it.
You need the consent of anyone who appears in a photo or video you post. If a friend isn't comfortable being in a mission proof, don't post it.
Reporting and moderation
You can report content or a person, and you can block someone, from inside the app. Blocking someone keeps them out of your future crews.
We can remove content, or suspend or close an account, if it breaks these terms or puts someone in the crew at risk. We'd rather that never comes up in a group of friends, but the option exists.
The service as it is
Loop is currently in TestFlight, Apple's beta testing program. It is not on the App Store yet, and there's no promise about when, or whether, it will be.
Because it's a beta, made and run by one person, treat it accordingly: features can change or disappear, seasons can behave unexpectedly, and in the worst case data can be lost. Loop is provided as is, without warranties of any kind.
Limitation of liability
Loop is free, and it's built and run by one person, not a company with a legal team. To the extent the law allows it, Loop isn't liable for indirect damages, lost data, or a season's memories not saving the way you expected. If something does go wrong, the most we owe you is what you paid to use Loop, which today is nothing.
This doesn't limit anything the law says can't be limited, such as liability for something done deliberately or with gross negligence.
Ending things
You can stop using Loop any time by simply not opening it. If you want your account and data gone, open your profile and delete your account, it's two taps. That removes your account, your media and the data rows tied to you, right away, and it can't be undone.
We can suspend or end your access too, mainly for breaking the acceptable use rules above, or if the service is shut down entirely. If Loop is ever shut down, we'll try to give existing crews reasonable notice.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania and, where they apply, the European Union. If a dispute ever needs a court, Romanian courts have jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Loop changes. If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Using Loop after a change means you accept the new terms.

About this page
This was written honestly and in plain language, but it hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer. It should be, before Loop goes out beyond a closed group of friends.
